About & Credits

Apple Music doesn't let you filter by Apple Digital Masters. Finding them meant opening albums one at a time and reading the fine print. Masters Vault is that list, kept current.

How we verify

Every album is checked by its exact Apple Music ID against Apple's catalog data, which flags Apple Digital Masters. It has to be a complete album, not a single, EP, or pre-release, and formats are cross-checked against Apple's own album page. Albums are re-checked on a rolling schedule; when one loses the flag, it's hidden from browsing. We never add an album based on anyone's say-so, including ours.

Last re-checked Oct 9.

Apple's own explanation: Apple Digital Masters.

Playback

Every album opens in Apple Music, where lossless and Hi-Res Lossless playback depend on your Apple Music settings and gear.
